The phones are forwarded after hours for emergency purposes, and Dr. Chen can be contacted if needed.  Any urgent messages left will be promptly returned. 

In case of a true dermatologic emergency, please proceed to the nearest emergency room.  Dr. Chen is affiliated with the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, and the emergency room physician can contact her directly if needed. 

All other non-emergent issues including prescription refills and the scheduling of appointments will happily be addressed during normal office hours.
